I was woken up by the benevolent sunshine that peaked through my window in the morning. I was grateful for the stable day, it seemed, as we’ve experienced a storm in the UK a few weeks back.
It’s a good day for a shoot. I was scrolling through my Pinterest board, and stumbled across a pin with Rihanna dressed for an award show in an oversized shirt and fur coat.
“Riri’s style is on another level. The thought process that went behind this look is impeccable”, I thought to myself. And of course, her accessories really transformed the look. Although, her look was only an oversized shirt, lace underskirt and a long fur coat, I was going to pull inspiration from this and make the look my own.

And so it begun. I whizzed over to my wardrobe and began scanning through my closet to find an outfit inspired by the Riri Pinterest image. I pulled my vintage fur coat, oversized shirt, baggy jeans, (£30) and one of my favourite pairs of heels: Amina Muaddi Henson sandals, (£690). Additionally, I took my look to the next level with my Loewe obi belt, which pulled in my waist nicely, whilst complimenting the brown tones of my look.

I accessorised my look with my Versace hair clips. These hair clips have been incoporated in a lot of my looks lately, like my YSL coat & Gucci tights look I wore in December, my Dior bra & Stella McCartney platforms look I wore a few months ago, and even my Zara green coat & Hermes red mini Kelly look I wore by Hyde Park in London.

I threw on an oversized white button up mens shirt, because menswear is always much comfortable, especially when trying to achieve an oversized look.
My Loewe obi belt was thrown over my oversized shirt, to balance my look, giving it a soft feminine touch. I rolled up my jeans to reveal the gold straps of my Amina Muaddi Henson black heels.
They’re hands down one of the must-have Amina Muaddi strappy heels as it has such a flattering shape.

A few weeks ago, I published some photos of myself in my Chanel jumper and jeans, paired with my Bottega Veneta gold bag. Whilst looking for other gold bag alternatives for you guys, I stumbled across this Guess gold plated shoulder bag.
It reminded me so much of the Fendi baguette, with the signature letter plastered in the middle, the shape and it’s versatility. It’s beautiful. So I got it. I don’t currently own any Fendi baguettes, so this can act as my chic baguette until I am prepared to make my very first Fendi bag purchase.
Since buying this Guess gold bag, I’ve worn it 3 times and I just can’t get enough of it. It is very stylish, so it elevates any outfit, while remaining effortless.

After my shoot, my day consisted of a trip to the Apple store to pick up a new iPad. Recently, my workflow has doubled due to the fact I now run 3 fashion blogs, and 1 fashion e-commerce store, which involves travelling in the process. With photoshoots, blogging, emails, travel, video shoots, and many more, I decided I needed something that allowed for more portability.

Additionally, with hitting a new milestone of 2 million views on my blog, I decided to gift myself an iPad as an accomplishment for all my hard work. I can only hope that this is just the beginning. To watch my iPad unboxing on my YouTube channel, click here.
