Daniel Lee Does It Again, Dive Into Bottega Fall Winter 2020

At Milan Fashion Week, Daniel Lee debuted Bottega Veneta’s Fall Collection 2020 and I am living for all the looks.

It is without a doubt that Daniel Lee has the industry’s attention. The sudden rise of popularity of Bottega Veneta has won him many awards, including 4 statuettes at London Fashion Awards, which is more than any designer has ever managed to win in a singer year before.

Here we dive into the details from the Bottega Veneta’s Fall 2020 show, and some of my favourite pieces.

The Bottega girl is strong, edgy and loves to make a statement in her appearance. She is thoughtful, yet delicate and isn’t afraid to be the life of the party.

On to the details: Intrecciato

The pouch bag scored its first hit, and became the hit bag of the season, I even purchased it myself which you can see here, but then with this season, he’s embraced the intrecciato design; and the intrecciato bags appear quite peculiar, yet exquisite, with Daniel Lee’s twist of course.

They have a double-face, woven pairing which gives a rather complimentary design. The leather strips are unlined and double-sided, so the same exceptional craftsmanship visible on the exterior of the bag is exposed on the interior as well. It’s the kind of modernizing touch—apparently instinctual but in the end quite thoughtful—that Daniel Lee is making his own.

Knit Intricacy at Bottega Veneta FW 20

If you know me, you know I am a sucker for a good knit. In Bottega Veneta’s past collections, Daniel Lee had debuted some pretty exquisite knitwear pieces that have made me have a little daydream, about how those soft knitted would feel against my skin.

Is this a good time to mention that I’m quite good at knitting?

This collection had some pretty intricate knit pieces, with the complimentary chunky chain added to the neckline which gave it some edge, sequins that made you feel like the life of the party, modern colour-plays which compliments the body so well.

Daniel Lee has done it again, and this was a fantastic collection!
