The Chanel Cruise 2020/21 show just debuted the dreamiest collection this summer and I have all the details and more!
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Chanel could not host a runway show this season. The show was initially going to be presented at Capri, a beautiful Italian island.
Virginie Viard worked with photographer Karim Sadli and a variety of models to put a presentation together, right at the Chanel’s Paris photo studio. They created a backdrop with an illusion of a Caprese sunset. Still maintaining fabrics that represent the Chanel aesthetic, it was a very light collection. We had tweed bras and light jackets, matching knit sets, breezy knit cardigans and flowy dresses. Viard’s collection for Chanel 2020/21 takes us to paradise without us actually being there.
